
Thomas Aldersley
Tom was born and raised in a small rural farming
community in Skipton, North Yorkshire. After school Tom moved to the
bright lights of Harrogate where he studied Music and Drama at Harrogate
College of Arts.
Upon leaving college Tom decided to stay in Harrogate and took a few
years out, he occupied himself with several bum jobs including Store
Manager, Promoter and video game reviewer to name but a few.
Tom decided after three years it was time to peruse his career in Acting
and auditioned for Drama School and as accepted at the Arden School
of Theatre In Manchester.
During his time at Drama School Tom began his collaborations with Joe
which produced shows such as “The Rise and Fall of Shep”
and “Greyhound Goes to Hollywood.” The latter based on the
pair’s road trip around the West Coast of the United States.
After four years Tom graduated from the Arden School of Theatre in 2004
with A First Class BA Honours Degree in Acting Studies and secured representation
with Markham and Marsden Ltd, London.

Tom plays regular character, Weatherfield
Gazette reporter, Phil Maguire in Coronation Street. He has also just
finished a successful run with the renowned Theatre North, playing the
lead in You’ll Get Used to it! Other notable work includes a short
film for the BBC, working on The Writers Exchange Project at the Royal
Exchange and of course, now in it’s second year, being the co-founding
member and co-host of Alternative Cabaret.
